Start Early

Children start to learn the second they're born, rapidly developing cognitive and social skills. So it's essential to nurture their education at an early age, and in a loving environment. We recognize the value of early education and accept students as young as one year old.

Preschoolers are eager to learn, and they learn by doing. That's why our preschool program stresses the importance of hands-on learning techniques that help build self-confidence and encourage children to explore the world around them in new ways. Our teachers provide plenty of individual attention to students with different needs, and parents are welcomed to be involved in every aspect of our program. In addition, our teachers create activities that combine fun and education to promote a love of learning in your child early on.

Curriculum

At Growing Together Preschool, our curriculum is designed to educate the whole child and meet the individual developmental needs and interests of the child. This includes the encouragement of development in the social, emotional, cognitive, motor, communication and self help skill areas.

Activities are planned for both the individual child and the group. Individual plans are intended to meet the individual developmental needs of the child while group plans are intended to encourage cooperation and interaction. Since Growing Together Preschool emphasizes integration of children of varying abilities, the emphasis is on meeting the individual child at their level as opposed to a rigid schedule for teaching specific skills at a specific age. Activities are intended to be functional, interesting, and developmentally appropriate.

Infant Program (ages 6 weeks to 15 months)

• Focuses on basic skills & discovery.
• Safe, healthy environment promoting exploration.
• Low child to teacher ratios offer children more individualized attention.

Toddler Program (ages 15 months to 3 years)

• Focuses on speech development & socialization.
• Emphasis on self-confidence & a sense of positive accomplishment.
• Toilet training is provided in cooperation with your efforts at home.
• "Teaching Strategies Gold" includes music, singing, circle time & creative expressions.
• Low child to teacher ratios offer children more individualized attention.

Preschool Program (ages 3 years through 4 years)

• Focuses on learning, creativity & cooperation with others.
• Emphasis on development of self-confidence, curiosity, & self-discipline.
• "Teaching Strategies Gold" includes music, language, physical, social, academic skills, & creative expression.
• Learn to respect others.
• Develop a positive attitude toward school & learning.
• Low child to teacher ratios offer children more individualized instruction & better preparation for school.
